Lodging
San Francisco has a wide variety of types of lodging for all ranges of budgets and levels of adventurousness. From 5-star, world-renowned hotels to amazing free couch-surfing opportunities, we’re confident you’ll be able to find something that fits your needs and budget. Our conference venue is centrally and located and accessible by all of San Francisco’s public transportation system (see also MUNI), so even if you don’t stay in a high-rise luxury hotel in the Civic Center, you’ll still be able to make the first conference talk at 9am with ease for just $2.
Location & HOTELS
If you're looking to book a hotel near the conference venue, here is a Google Map to help you get your bearings. Unfortunately there is a small portion of San Francisco, called the Tenderloin, that you should avoid when considering a hotel. It is outlined on this map.
Hostels, Room Sharing
UPDATE: Group hostel is fully booked!
If you are looking to stay in a hostel with other ploners and/or find someone to share a hotel room with, please submit your information and we'll do what we can to match you guys up. Group bookings of 8 and more are $28/night/person and we are happy to coordinate. You can also book your own hostel room downtown for slightly higher rates. Please commit sooner than later - these hostels are extremely nice, cheap, and popular.
