Dear PloneLoungers, PloneBootcampers, and other assorted peeps:

As you all know, I'm holding the first-ever San Francisco Plone bootcamp next
week at Fort Mason, and I have 30+ dazzlingly-interesting-sounding students
coming. And, of course, we have the best-informed and best-looking Plone user
group in the nation here in SF. What better thing to do than introduce us to
each other?

With that in mind, I'm planning a happy-hour-until-whenever event near to the
bootcamp. We'll be meeting up at:

City Tavern
3200 Fillmore St
San Francisco, CA 94123

(Bootcampers: it's a quick, safe walk from Fort Mason to here, and there's
even a bus that goes pretty much directly by; I'll point out in class)

I haven't been here myself at night (I live on the other side of town), but
it's close to class, easy to find, and there's lots of cheap places around
afterwards for food and other adventures (Pizza Orgasmica, across the street
and quite tasty, for example, has an all-you-cat-eat pizza deal if you want
to embarrass yourself in front of fellow Plonistas!)

Apparently, the place gets reasonably crowded at night, but perhaps we'll
survive unscathed.

I suspect the students will want to drop off laptops and such at their hotels,
and that some of you may want to finish work before drinking. I'm going to
get there at about 6 pm, but of course, drop by whenever you'd like. If you
get there too late, though, we may have moved on.

Drinks and food are, of course, on your own.
