We are actively seeking sponsors for the Plone Conference, although this year we’re doing things a bit differently than in previous years; instead of asking for blanket sponsorships to be rolled into the general budget, and then putting a company logo on Conference materials, we are looking for companies to sponsor specific items, to which that company’s contributions can be attributed. The budget has covered all of the basics for the conference, so we want to let you guys in on the fun stuff.
All of these sponsorships include a 15% donation to the Plone foundation and are in US dollars. That's right folks - this is the year make that stinky American dollar exchange rate work in your favor. Keep in mind that any profit made on this conference goes directly to the Plone foundation so every donation either helps this conference directly or the future of Plone as a whole.
Each sponsorship over $100 includes recognition on the sponsors page and in the conference handouts. Any donation over $500 comes with your logo on the footer of every page of the site, and the front page. Exact branding for specific items differs based on the item and we are more than open to your ideas on how to make it represent your company best.
All of these are open for sharing with your friends and frenemies. If nothing looks good, email us and we'll find something to suit you. If you are looking to donate the old school way, we are totally fine with that too. Take a gander and email us at sponsor@ploneconf.org to claim your prize.

| General Conference Donation | $100 and up | Unlimited | Everyone can donate to the general conference fund. Anyone who donates $100 and up will be recognized on our sponsors page and in the conference handouts. $500 and up will have their logo on the front page and footer as well. |
| Scholarships | $345 | Unlimited | You'll notice that we have an extremely low rate for students this year and we want to make sure that the tradition continues next year. With this donation, $300 goes into the "kitty" for next years conference for students and other attendees with financial hardships. In exchange, you'll get a warm fuzzy feeling in your heart, a big page of print thank you, and we'll do our best to make sure the recipients kiss your ring, king style. |
| Volunteer/Speaker Room | n/a | Sponsored by Pilot Systems | There is a special room set aside for our volunteers and speakers to coordinate, nap, and get drunk in. We call it the V room, but we'd like to call it the <Your Company Name Here> room. We have a special guest bartender on tap as well as extra yummy snacks to keep them pumped up and running smoothly, so that the conference does the same. |
| Mobile Support | n/a | Sponsored by fry-it | It's 2011 and there are a few mobile apps out there that will help us take our schedule and make it a native app. Following the lead of PyCon, we'll be asking The Conventionist to help us distribute electronic schedules with a side of magic. | Coffee, Tea, & Snacks Upgrade | $750 | 4 (1/day) | Don't worry - we'll have coffee no matter what. We just want to take it to a whole other level. Do you have a favorite coffee or tea? Sponsor the upgrade and we'll make sure everyone is drinking your juice. Want to upgrade snacks from costco potato chips to spicy roasted seaweed crisps? You got it. We don't have a showroom, but the snack table will become yours for a day of pimping, pouring, and prosthelytizing. Sorry, no irish coffe :( |

If you haven't figured it out yet, we are trying to give our volunteers everything they need and more. That means that they should have the best of the best when it comes to ... t-shirts. Seriously though, people need to know who they are. We want to get them something loud, proud, and likely tacky so that everyone knows who to go to when they need help. Pint glasses with this years logo and year for every conference go-er. This year is all about featured evening activities and we want to make sure people have a great start. Sponsor a round (or 3) and we'll open up a tab in your name. Everyone will know it's you when they say "I'll have 3 vodka tonics, top shelf, and put that on a tab for <YOUR NAME HERE>".
